Gerhard Fuchs

Perhaps you want to know why I do the Elias website. In 1997 I read the transcripts that were posted on Sethworks about the sessions at the Seth Conference in Elmira and so I began reading the transcripts and making an index. In May 1998 Mary and Vicki agreed to make the first Elias website open to the public.
I live in Vienna, my mother-tongue is German. I know that I am quite a lazy translator, but I am already getting help with translating into German from Katrin Klinger, who was born In Germany and lives in London.

When I first became aware of Elias and his teachings through a Seth friend in 1999, I was immediately struck by the quality of the information and how familiar it felt. I was consumed by these “new” ideas and spent hours upon hours printing and reading the sessions from Gerhard’s site - sessions that Mary Ennis, Vicki Pendley, and others had so lovingly and generously offered to anyone who might be drawn to them. A wonderful side benefit of this material is the community that has risen up around it and the opportunity to meet incredible people whose lifetimes, both past and future, are intricately and intimately interwoven with my own.
One of those incredible people was my dear friend Margot Reed, whose interest in the exploration of other lifetimes (or as Elias would call them “focuses of attention”) produced the beginnings of this database. When Margot died in 2005, I felt honored that Gerhard asked me to take over the direction of this database. Although a major characteristic of lists of this kind of information appears to be absolute, we understand that it is not and I enjoy the sheer fun of the investigation of other aspects of myself. It’s such a joy for me to see the groups forming as each person adds to the database, and it becomes more and more obvious just how connected we all are.
About myself: I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest of the United States with my husband of 25 years, 2 cats, and a dog. Our family was just recently expanded by the birth of twins to my son and his wife. I’ve been a designer of some kind through many of my lifetimes, but in this one the passion for design has manifested in the form of commercial interior design. I am self-employed and enjoy traveling, gardening, reading, and paper arts.

I was born in Chile, which is a beautiful country in South America next to Argentina. I came to USA many years ago. Looking for the unknown information we, as a family, started reading the Seth Material in 1991. Since translating has always been so natural for me and I also used it in my job, I translated quotes from the Seth material in order to have a better understanding of the same. We went to the Seth Conference in Elmira, 1997 and I met Robert Butts, the whole conference was a wonderful experience. When I started reading the Elias material I began to also translate some of the (Elias) sessions and I found the information extraordinary, also I wanted to share it with the Latin American people. I discussed it with Mary and she was very happy to have my translations in the Elias site, and I have been sending them since.
I had a very warm welcome in the Elias site by Gerard Fuchs and George De Mello. George initiated the Spanish site for Elias, and he had already translated excellent sessions into Spanish, he has always been available to answer any question I may have.
I live in New Jersey, with my daughters and family, and I hope everybody gets the benefit of these sessions which Elias and Mary provide so generously and give us so much help.

Amadeu Duarte

I live in Portugal and started interesting myself by these matters some thirty years ago, after some experiences of epiphany. I was focusing myself at the conception of an industrial company, but that was totally deflected in result. I really have no social status, no political affiliation, no religious significant background nor leaning. And basically I’m a self-taught guy with no academic education, which isn’t properly a handicap! I’m also a self-employed person.
I make part of this most noble team of miracles making students, probably the most humble in most aspects of life and being and probably the most exalted. So, I feel most honored for being among them all.
What I’m doing represents no effort, I have no specific agenda, and I’m not making this for the sake of Elias, nor for my own, nor even for the reader’s, but for the pleasure of it all. I do this for I am that which I do and that represents a mirror action, no other reason. Just for the timeless realization of Mindfulness or the I Am sense of being - the unshakable sense of the unrestricted Self.
The Elias I am here presenting is an inherent part of myself I should say, by the interconnectedness that makes the really stuff of what I am made of, and a vivid framework of my interests in life.
Needless to say I need not give any other explanation and I even do hold no expectation in relation to the results of this action, whatsoever. Nor do I pretend any other way. Nevertheless I may be the greatest of liars, and Elias nothing but an excuse. It is up to you to evaluate the difference.

Sylvia van Troost

I was born and raised in West Africa, Liberia, where, due to a coup d’état, I was forced to flee the country as a refugee, and have since then settled in my native country, the Nederland’s.
My date of birth was in the year of 1962. I am a private person, prefer solitude, am no talker, but prefer to observe, as the act of observing seems to be my natural inclination.
I regard the Elias concepts as material that is high in quality, and I place it alongside the many other excellent philosophies, that are available out there.
I started translating the material, after I felt an impulse to do so ~ perhaps as a way to be able to comprehend it fuller ~ and have been doing so, ever since.
